Scrap sealed units are sometimes referred to as sealed units or compressors. Sealed units are very heavy and are typically filled with oil. Some scrap yards will only take sealed units if they have been drained of all fluids. Sealed units come in varying sizes depending upon what type of application they have came out of. They have an outer steel shell with copper or aluminum windings inside of the unit.
Typical usage: AC Units, Fridges, Freezers.
